Dr Jawaid Khan

General Practitioner and Partner

Personal Profile

I completed my medical degree and GP training in Liverpool. I have an interest in medical education and currently involved in teaching both physician associates and medical students. As a GP trainer I’ve been involved in training junior doctors and GP registrars, and plan to resume this again at the practice. In my spare time I enjoy walking and watching sci-fi films but recently I have revived a old interest in physics.

Personal Profile

I qualified from Newcastle Medical school in 2003 with a background in surgery, in particular orthopaedics and musculoskeletal medicine, before qualifying as a GP in 2011. I help lead the organisation from sites in Leeds and Burnley focusing on improving health care access for patients and working to ensure that patients see the right clinician at the right time. In my spare time I play football, cycle and enjoy running

Dr Sudhir Malhotra

General Practitioner

Personal Profile

I am one of your GPs in Briercliffe Medical Centre. I passed my MBBS from a busy medical school in Kolkata, India many years ago, and have worked in a variety of specialities during my long career as a doctor. After coming to the UK, I completed my MRCSEd and MRCGP training which enriched my experience even further. I enjoy working in Primary Care and try to contribute, in my small way, towards our teams effort, in looking after the healthcare needs of our local community. In addition to English, I am comfortable speaking in Punjabi, Urdu and Bengali.
